LOL. Actually is amazing though, supporting your hobby while keeping it under control. I don't have a wife but need to do this to myself. Spending way too much on the trucks now, maybe that would help me a little.

Congrats on an understanding wife. We each had our own accounts for our personal needs and then a common account. Worked good, couldn't complain about where her money went and like-wise.

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
We used to do that...... then she started raiding my cash box when she forgot to stop at the bank and get cash for the baby sitter.......... and by baby sitter i mean shoes and subway.

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool. And idk about helping but it sure makes you think about what you could do with all that money you're spending on her.lol

She likes to go for little wheelin trips and stuff too but she won't drive it. She says the thought of a manual scares her.haha

she hasn't thrown it out there...yet

That'd be a good idea except she'd be the only one spending it.that woman can spend money.haha

I've been trying to talk my wife into the same thing. It doesn't have to be much, just something I can stash away with no guilt to save up for something I want for the truck. Though I have another way to generate extra funds that I'll link to here soon...

My wife was the one that told me to paint my Mustang. It might be due to the fact I was always singin' the blues about it though.

.......... maybe I need to take that approach to an engine rebuild ------> :icon_idea:
