Good news for the blue oval:

Ford Profits Surge

And Bill Ford says he has worked for free since 2005. :icon_thumby:

So can we have a new Ranger, please!

Just saw that good news this morning, said a profit of 3.5 B in the first quarter. Mentioned production going to be increased 30%. Bill Ford does not have to get paid, net worth is about 100M, his dad was over 1 billion at one time. Interesting to read about William Clay Ford Jr. One of the guys (happens to be a cop) over on RPS pulled him over for speeding not too long ago in one of them hot, new SHO's.

Do you want Ford to stay in the clear? Then lets not push him giving us a new Ranger. Unless you meant a new redesigned Ranger for the upcoming years ahead.

Yep. As long is it keeps the same ruggedness & durability we Rangerheads have come to expect.

Heaven help us if they turn it into something pussified like the Ridgeline.

This is cool news. Give us a new Ranger. With EcoBoost or a diesel engine.

Glad to here that. I heard but not positive that Ford is going to reopen its Connersville, IN plant to meet consumer demand.

Bill is not like your normal CEO/COO/CFO or whatever. Not even sure he plays "Pasture Pool". What he likes to do in the Winter is play pond hockey. He is much more like his great grandfather (Henry) who set a world speed record of over 90 mph in 1904.

"I found it on the Internet six years ago just messing around. I found something called pond hockey and I thought 'I wonder what that is,'" Ford said. "I looked at it and thought it would be fun so I called a couple of guys I play with and asked them if they wanted to do it. They said sure, so we signed up, and have been doing ever since. It's been really fun." His team (Team Ford) has one four of the last five championships in the 50 over division.

No penalty box. No boards. No goalie. No roof. Weather can be down to zero and snowing. Way at the last of the video is their team.
