Hi everyone! We here at JET Performance do a weekly video series where we install products on vehicles. We are looking for a 98-2006 Ford Ranger. You must be willing to leave for your vehicle with us for 1 entire day.

We are located in Huntington Beach, CA. Please email me if you're interested with subject line : Use my Ranger!

As a tuner myself, I don't understand what you will get out of these trucks that Ford hasn't already has done with your tune on a chip................................ I understand the need for a new tune with significant power adders. What will this build entail?

It's not a build. We're filming installs for our YouTube Channel. We have customers who are requesting a video of the actual install being shown on an older Ranger. So we are trying to oblige. All products are removed after, we're simply needing a truck for video purposes.

Hopefully your videos will include some before/after dyno runs to show the effectiveness of the modifications you make.

Actually we provide the dyno graphs online. We have some dyno videos but found that customers prefer to just see the data as it happened. So all Dyno results with before and after the JET products are available at: http://jetchip.com/dyno-sheets/

I see 10-14 more horsepower on the 2006 to 2011 4.0 and I would guess that is running premium? http://jetchip.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/2006-to-2011-Ford-Ranger-Explorer-4.0L-Module.pdf

I'd rather see your Programmer on a modified engine...............results would be more impressive to illustrate the difference on a stroker or boosted rig. It would likely be necessary on a stroker and certainly necessary with boost.

IMHO Fords done a pretty damn good job with the stock tune on these rigs for the stock engines and there is more bang for the buck in other modifications and Fords tuning will adapt to smallish power adders.

My experience is limited to Fords 302, 351W and the 4.0 SOHC. I bet there are bigger gains with Jets products on other makes and models.:icon_thumby:

You'd not get my money for those gains nor have my rig for a day without letting me keep the product.:dunno:

We never said there wasn't any compensation. Most choose to keep the module because it's plug and play and easier to install and/or remove themselves. We're shooting the videos for our customers who want to see how the products are installed on their vehicles. It's not a video for results, simply installation. Results are posted online under dyno sheets. :icon_thumby:
