Post some pics of your front and or rear bumpers, winch mounts, tow points to give others ideas.

The front grill was cut so that the winch could be set back as far as possible to maximize approach angle.

The rear cross member was cut out and a few inches of frame where cut off. The shackle rivets where removed and the holes where incorporated onto the bumper mount. The bumper acts as the rear cross member now. Also two clevis mounts.

My new rear bumper is in the works. I am making one that I can mount a winch on. I will post some pictures when I get it done.

I made this thing for some tow points on the front and to move the stock bumper up to match my body lift.

It mounts by the 2 holes on each side bolt it onto the frame via two existing holes, pretty mild but the topic comes up alot since relocation brackets are not available for gen1 trucks.

Boomer, that is the sweetest front bumper and skid plate ever. How much did that thing cost you?

Thanks...650 total. The d-ring you see in the front is a class 3 hitch welded to the frame behind the skid plate. I just put a warn xd9000i on it. I can't go to any 4x4 meets with out someone asking about the bumper. I would gladly spend that again if I got another truck, I like it that much.

$650 is not bad at all. If you get the Warn grill guard with winch mount and the brush guard extras and stuff, it is almost that much. And no grind plate. I wish there was a place around here that would take a project like that on. All I want is a skid plate for the font to cover the radiator and stuff.

here is mine not done yet, ive been wheelin instead of fixing all the little details i got left with my truck. that will probably wait until winter. Still have to make D ring holders and a spot for a reciever. im gonna run a winch with the reciver bracket so i can use it in the front or the back.

Back on the list....

Here's the deer killer I made for the front of my truck. Rear bumper is currently in the works.

camodown, I like that bumper you've got. And the license plate is the right color too..... :icon_thumby:

I know I said this on the old forum, but that bumper would survie a collision with a tank
