ive had a 10 inch piece of copper tubing as a fuel tank selector bypas on my 78 for about 5 years now and it hasnt craked or broken yet. Had a rubber hose crack though and start spewing fuel, replaced it and the copper still looked great.

I wanna see this as a finished product. And keep the stock rims. I think that look is badass. :headbang:

I think what makes your truck look good that low is the paint, it's sick!! I have 15x6 stock jeep wrangler wheels on my truck, with 30x9.50's and they are tucked by like 2", of course, my body style is completely different. not sure about my back spacing, It looks like allot though 4.5-5" probably.

thanks guys. i agree that the stock wheels are KILLER! BUT i need a little bit shorter tire, if i keep the 14's and go shorter i can get the small thin whitewall anymore, plus the 14" wheel wont clear the rear disc (SN95 setup that i have)

so either 17" dodge steelies (they look the same as my 14" steelies, id paint them to match, or 18" polished centerline Boulevards? http://adaptivestrategies.com/CENTER_LINE_BOULEVARD.jpg

Keep it steelies I'd say. Those Boulevards aren't bad, but they totally don't really match the flow of your truck I don't think. Just my 0.02

+2 for the steelies, and you can use center caps from a late model police Crown Vic with them.
And I know a guy that can make that happen for ya! :)

I'm with you on the thread title. I never need LOW RANGE unless I'm deep in shit. I always think of a mud covered truck with huge tires....lol
