Current Specs: 1999 Ford Ranger Regular Cab XLT 4.0 V6 4x4, 4" Superlift, 3" Summit Body Lift, 33x12.50 BFG M/T KM1s on 15x8 Cragar Soft 8s, 63" Chevy Leaf Swap, Manual Conversion OEM Hubs, Superlift 4" Lift Shocks, Smittybuilt XRC8 Winch, Custom Rollbar w/ 2 100W KC Daylighters, Autolite Gauges, K&N Drop In (Not for performance, for washability) 2.5" Cat-back Flowmaster Super44 Fender Side-dump, Homemade Cowl Induction Snorkel, Base Model Rubber Flooring, Sportsman Advantage Max-4 HD Seat Covers, Herculined Bed, 19DX Cobra CB w/ 2ft fiberglass whips, External Sun Visor w/ Running lights, Scratches & Dents

Well, since I haven't made a build thread quite yet about my 1999 4x4 ranger, I figured I could just make a thread to show you guys what I've been up to lately.

So heres what I started with, a bone stock, 1999 reg cab 4x4 4.0 Ranger.
Not a very good pic but its what I got :icon_thumby:

So then I threw on a 3" BL (yes i lifted the bumper soon after.)

Then I cranked the T-bars, put on 2" Lift shackles in the back. and installed a SunVisor.

Then installed a homebrew Cowl Induction Snorkel

Then I did a little :icon_welder: and made a fullsize GMC rollbar fit my truck! :icon_thumby:

Then I went and bought some brand new 33x12.50 BFG MT KM1s on some cragar soft 8 15x8s

And done went out and flooded my interior and busted out a tailight.

weak poser crap

Then I flipped her on her side in the winter...whoops

What? Freshly sandblasted and painted superlift 4" kit ready to install??? paid $460 for a torched off exploder front end with the kit on it. Installed new moog UCAs, LCA BJs and soon enough, TREs and brakes all the way around.

Superlift Installed, Oh yea, installed an XRC-8 Winch Somewhere In the mix, lol

Chevy leaf swap done. 3-leafs. Flexes like a boss

Now, how does she wheel for an IFS truck?

Oh yea, i did a flowmaster super44 2.5" catback side-dump to keep the exhaust out of the way.
86 slo-vo gets the credit on this one!

Neat pic I think

whoopsss

me and my buddies yoda

Thanks for lookin! :icon_hornsup: Not bad for an 18 year old workin at McDonalds with a basic set of hand tools, eh?

Not pictured yet, riddler 8.8 diff cover (might be able to see it in one pic lol) autolite oilpressure/volt/water gauges, base model rubber flooring swap. I'll probably add a few more pics

Future Plans: Halfdoors for the summer, Winchbumper, rear bumper, rock sliders, SAS BABY!

I was, but the 3.0 took a massive dive on me right before I parked it, and it's just gonna cost me a lot more to finish it and get it running again... I came across on a great deal on a standard cab f250 4x4 and most of my stuff will bolt up to it, it's already got a great running 351 so I can tow stuff with it... It's just a smarter move for now.

So for now I'll just be into foolsized wheeling :D

I'll get another ranger after things pan out with school and life... probably another 4th gen... they're just the best looking rangers out there.

Yeah, I'll toss one up on blue oval... I may just sneak all my updates into my ranger's build thread so be watching that... ranger outta be gone by the end of next week... which means the f-250 will be limped home (slipping tranny, damn auto's, it'll get swapped to a 5spd) and start going under the sawzall.

:threadjacked:

I seriously want your truck though.

While I myself cannot fit into a ranger's standard cab, I love the swb look and if I had a superlift I would hold off on a sas for quite some time...

It's just a good looking truck really :icon_thumby:

I <3 body damage.
