Its about time!!! What a colossal waste of time and resources that could have been spent catching thieves.
How is registering a gun going to stop a nut-bar from using the gun?
And cops responding to disturbances should already be acting as if there are guns involved.

Hopefully someday Canada will get similar gun laws to United States. Going to get my PAL this month anyways. Our gun laws are ridiculous. Off duty cops can't carry a gun on them!
