winch mounting to a 1997 ford ranger splash ?

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if anyone can advise me on how to attach a winch tong to my 1997 ford ranger splash 4x4 ?
I have been told that I would have to have a special front bumper to do this but i cant find one that is for mounting a winch to.
any advise you have to offer i would be grateful for.

Heres the cheap , as in little cash way. a few pics . http://fordtruckworld.tenmagazines.com/ew/mygallery.asp?id=14178 The winch bracket or metal that it is bolted 2 ,is welded under the frame horns and u will need to relocate 2 of the bumper mounts , thats what i had to do.
