Hi all,
My son and I have rebuilt an 1984 ranger w/2.3 carburetor motor and we need some pictures of how all the vacuum lines hook up and where. We are missing the Tag that is on the core support. Dealer can't help and all the books at the Library don't show actual picture's, just diagram's with abbreviations, next to impossible to follow??
can anyone help us with some pictures.
thanks
Tim

Is that the feedback carb and are you running with the TFI ignition. The guys here will know better you just need tyo be a little patient. Do you need to pass emissions if not you can eliminate most of the vacuum crap and go with a duraspark ignition with a vacuum advance. How many wires are comeing out the distributor?

Thanks for the reply..
Yes I have to pass emission..
Yes feed back carb
3 wires out of Dizzy
Not sure about the TFI ignition it looks like a regular Dura spark set up with the little blue tab spark box.
The Air pump is gone so we are going to hook up a elect. pump from a cavelear and hopes they pass it.
thanks
tim

Thanks BlackBII but I've got that diagram ... doesn't help when you don't know what all the abbveation stand for or what they are and its not diragramed like the motor is set up or colored coded.
Thats why I need some pictures please.
I'm think maybe I can just hook them up to anything so they look hooked up all well have vacuum and hope it passes.
thanks
tim

Google is your friend. I'm sure you can find pics of each component if you look hard enough.

Where was that when I had my original carb??? That was probably the most informative post I've read in 10 years on TRS...
