Will either tire work on an 86 Ranger with American racing 15x8 wheels?
235/75/15 or 205/70 15 which would be better? The 205s are almost new and came off a 90 caddy. 235s from a Chevy. used some but not too far behind the 205s. Thanks.:icon_confused:

I ran 235/75-15's for years on the factory white rims (either 6 or 6.5" I don't remember offhand) on my '85 4x4 without issue.

a lot depends on where you live and what you're driving. if it's a 4x4 and you gt snow in the winter or run trails, then go the 235's for sure. if it's a 4x2 and you're in Florida or southern California, then you'd do fine with the 205's.
just my guess.

I am in North Carolina in a little town named Hickory . One hour N of Charlotte. Most of the driving is just around town. No hauling or anything else. Its a 2WD . For all the fun stuff I drive my wifes E430 or my SLK 230. I thought maybe a 3" lift was enough but now I will reconsider . LOL Thanks for the help. :icon_thumby:
