I have a 1993 Ford Ranger 4.0L auto 4x4 with California emisions. I just had to replace the driver's side exhaust manifold due to a crack in it. I replaced it with a manifold that doesn't have the provisions for the EGR Valve tube. After doing the swap I did some more research and it appers nobody offers an OEM manifold like the stock one. I am now wondering if I can somehow bypass the EGR Valve Pressure Sensor to get my check engine light to shut off. If anyone knows how or any ideas to bypass it, please let me know.

One thing you can try is to find a non-California emissions computer. It should have a non-EGR calibration and should kill the light. The only problem is that I don't know if you will pass a CA sniffer test like that.
