Yes, the Bama tuner did give a little extra power when needed and slightly improved gas mileage if I keep my foot out of the gas pedal. It also gives the truck better driveability. It has better response during initial acceleration and better engine braking when letting up on the gas pedal. Bumping up the 90 mph speed limiter is nice too.
Every two years I reflash back to stock for a couple weeks for emmisions testing. After the test I can't wait to get it back on the BAMA tune. I can really tell the driveablity difference.
