Good luck to you. Let us know if you pass. :icon_thumby:

My first test around, I failed. I was so upset that day that I was just about ready to strangle the guy who scored my test. Second time around, there was a few inches of snow on the ground. The same guy that had tested me the first time, tested me again. He had told me that everybody that tested before me failed because they were sliding all over the place, were not able to control the vehicle, etc. Long story short, he passed me because I was able to control the vehicle that day. I was actually one point away from completely failing the test too, so I think that my ability to control the vehicle helped me that day.

I failed the first time too. Didn't even make it out of the parking lot. Tried to parallel park a 23'10" van in a regulation 23' parking stall. Knocked over a cone with the spare tire, failed on the spot. PENDOT likes to do things Pass/Fail.

Just stay cool, follow the signs, and be awesome.

Our test is really easy here in my town. Its literally no longer than 5-10 minutes and we just have to drive a loop aroud the dmv and pull up to a curb and back up for 10 feet. THATS IT!!! All my friends and everyone I know has passed their first try.

Little confused, Bro.....:icon_confused::icon_confused:

You have a couple of trucks listed in you Avatar but no drivers license yet?? Or, do you have to retake a test every 4 years or something? I took my test when I was 14 and passed that and I also got a motorcycle license and a chauffers license to drive a truck at the same day. I have never had to take another test again.

They got rid of the driving test around here in around 1995 or so- now we have a generation of complete and total morons who come down the highway on-ramp on the brakes and can't figure out why they can't get on the highway- or they'll be running 15 MPH and swing out in front of a big truck doing 75... The state (TX) finally realized their stupidity and made everyone start taking the road test again this year, but the damage has been done... Congrats on the license, after driving 3 million miles my advice- PAY ATTENTION to what you do! Concentrate on the task at hand (driving) when u r driving. Txt when you park.

I had 7 bikes and 4 cars/trucks when by the time I was 15, but I had my drivers and motorcycle license at 14 and got to take lots of road trips all over the USA. When I turned 16 (your age) I bought a low milage one owner 67 427 tri-powered 'Vett and kept it until I turned 30. More road trips and with a 67 'Vette at 16 and 17 years of age were super!!!
