I'm sure I'm not the only one here that goes to the gym. I've been going 3x's a week for about the last 5-years or so to try and stay in some shape that isn't round. I could definitely use a trainer, and a healthier diet though.

I know this is a bit of a broad question, but I'm wondering who all here works out, and if you have a schedule / routine that you adhere to that you'd like to share?

My credo
Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
Work is my gym. ?

I will say (and I know the studies are inconclusive) that I started taking a half dose of CLA two years ago. Benefits have been tremendous. Much easier to retain gains with it.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
No official workout here.

Should

But I don’t.

Typically about 4-5 days a week with a day for Legs, Chest/Shoulders, Back and Arms. Cardio is usually 15-20 minutes on the stairmaster after weight training.

I usually do about 5-6 movements with 5-6 sets each, so 25-30 working sets total. Gym time is usually about 90 minutes.

I don't follow a routine for each day, I just go by feel. But, a typical leg day would be something like this:

5x5 Squats
5x10 Romanian Deadlifts
5x10 Leg Extensions
5x10 Split Squats
5x10 Calf Raises
4 sets of walking lunges

I try to do -something- at lunch most weekdays at the gym on campus where I work. Usually a mixture of running/stair climbing/rowing.
In the morning I'm in the local crossfit gym at 515 for about an hour.

Other than that, not much. Trail running when I can find time. It would help immensely if I kept my food intake under control.

Ya, I've seen your photos and videos on Instagram. You look like you could pick up your Ranger, and set it on jack stands. LOL.

I just raked leaves for 5 hours... does that count as working out?

That *might* piss off the neighbors.
My neighbors do a controlled burn on their CRP every year. Not really a big deal. Doesn't look that easy though, they mow around the edges before they touch it off and have a big tanker of water to keep the spot sprayer on the 'gater topped off so it doesn't get away from them.

For my workout I am in between weedeating/truckbuilding and snow fighting.

It does for me. I’m tired just reading about it.
Just set your lawn on fire. Much faster.
I have 2.5 acres. More than 1/2 of it is woods. I give it 3 days and it will look like I didn't touch it. The wind will just blow more leaves out onto the lawn and into the flower beds.

Setting it on fire might be a good idea... we're talking about moving anyway.
