As I was cleaning up the a set of rims I grabbed for snow tires I noticed that it had the size stamped into it but it had a third number after it. The stamp reads 15x7x12. I know the 15 is rim diameter and the 7 is the width of the rim but I can not figure out what the 12 means. Does anyone know what this third number represents?
These are stock ranger rims with ford part numbers stamped into them. This one has me stumped as I can tell the part number from the casting numbers but can't figure out what this 12 means.
