That one guy with ADHD and doesn't stop talking about cars.
Am I the only guy here who put a porch cushion....not too thick nor thin....on the driver seat so ther ass isn't sitting on metal bars?

Did that this morning and is it soo much better....especially visibility.....I'll take a pic later in morning and post it.....

I’m getting winter tires mounted on steel rims including the spare for the 2019. A matching aluminum rim is on it’s way for the current spare that matches the others that came with the truck. Then I’ll have a complete matching set of Hankooks for the Spring through Fall months and Mastercrafts for the Fall through Spring months. Mud Tires will come later.

EDIT: One of the joys of having the first year of a model. The tire shop needs to update their TPMS programer so they can train the new sensors. The job will get finished tomorrow after work.

So you have a ranger with the interior before the 1998 ranger update with the 95 explorer interior right? Is the older style seats in a ranger more comfortable?

I installed my new Warn 37780 manual locking hubs. For the price, they better last a long time.

My original 93 seats were comfortable to me. The cover was tearing on the driver seat and had been sewn back several times. So I replaced with 2001 explorer seats. They’re pretty comfortable, also. Though I can tell that the foam is deteriorating at the side where the driver gets in and out. I definitely don’t feel any metal bars on my butt.

I was just teasing. Seats are a very touchy subject. Everyone has a different idea of what comfortable or even “acceptable “ is. If you can’t get comfy. You won’t enjoy the vehicle.

Do you guys think a topper, especially a mismatched painted topper makes a truck unique? I ask because mine although it was same color as truck originally but after a failed attempt to paint it silver it made the truck stand out a lot and easy to find in parking lots....so thoughts on toppers please I'm curious.....
Mine has a truck cap with square aluminum tubing for a ladder rack and I can always find my truck in a parking lot really easy because I'll see one or two of the metal tubes sticking up. Old truck had a jungle gym for a ladder rack lol which made it easy to find. I mounted small LED lights to the ceiling of the cap. They just turn on with a quarter turn. Mounted 4 of them and they are really bright at night. I got some of the small eagle eye looking LED lights I want to mount right below the bed rail but have not got that far yet. These are nice other than the fact the sticky tape didn't hold (I didn't expect it to) so I had to screw them in place but no biggie. I want lights all over this sum beech.

Always like hearing about successive success stories. That really trips up my tongue.
