Hey guys, Anyone know how to change the A4LD Transmission front pump seal? When i yanked engine alittle fluid came out so i would hate to pump engine back in to only have the seal leak. I tried prying it out yesterday but it would not bulge. Do i have to remove extension?

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem
Easy way is use a seal puller. Be sure not to get the puller on the front pump bushing behind the seal. Also it will leak fluid with no converter installed.

Quick tip is to put grease around the inside the seal to keep the garter spring from popping off while it’s pounded in.
