I haven't followed MTV. Did they stop posting music videos after 18 years?

I still remember the first day that MTV hit the air waves. I was plopped down right in front of the TV waiting in anticipation. They played the same couple videos over and over and over.. It didn't take long for them to start gathering more content though.

Now I will say there are times when I think that 30 years ago is 1970 lol but 1999 is about when MTV went into total suckville. about that time they stopped playing music videos and got into the reality tv craze and that pretty much determined what they aired.

Yeah, kind of like TLC, Discovery, History etc... they have deviated from their origins.

It's there. But nothing like it was in 1981. Much sleazier and junkier, if you can imagine that.
