Stepside on 2008 SuperCab?

I saw the 4/30/16 "Bed Swap" posting started by RavoHimself on his 03 Ranger. I am considering swapping the bed on my 2008 SuperCab for a stepside, so I wanted to make sure I understand this right. ANY stepside bed from 1993 up will fit ANY Ranger from 1993 up? Reg cab vs Supercab not an issue? Don't want to beat a dead horse, just want to make sure I understand. Thanks

Some of the beds have 8 mounting bolts vs 6, but other than that any bed should fit any frame (even going all the way back to 1983).

I'm not sure which year exactly the two extra mounting bolts were added (sometime between '01-'04 I think). Maybe someone else can comment.
