State inspection and emissions due this month. I knew the Trac had a squeaky ball joint, suspect rear brakes, no e-brake, and a fairly constant CEL showing left and right cat codes. Not able to keep the light out long enough to coax it past the emissions test. New Y-pipe and cats. All four brakes and rotors. Don't know what's wrong with the e-brake yet. The ENTIRE front suspension needs to be rebuilt. Every bushing, both UCA's, lower ball joints, struts, and strut bushings, sway bar end links. Basically everything that moves up and down is as loose as the Steelers' defense. Things that move left and right are passable but they say the steering rack is loose and should be replaced soon. Bought new tires two weeks ago. And I already knew the rear driveshaft carrier bearing is blown and that needs to be replaced along with the rear struts. 184,000 miles, this stuff will happen. Guess now I'm going to have to keep it another year or two.
