I have a 1998 ranger with the 2.5 Lima, And I'm thinking of putting solid lifters in, does anybody know if the ones that are for the 2.3 Lima would work or be the same, or if not, if anybody makes them for the 2.5?

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
Check with Esslinger, they make a bunch of performance parts for 2.3's. You know you need a different cam, too, right?

What would be the difference in the cam? I didn't know that yet, but that's why I've asked. ? Will those work fine for the 2.5 though? I know that the engines are similar, but don't know where the similarities stop and start.

The profile of the lobes is different between solid lifter and hydraulic. The solid will have an 'acceleration ramp' where the clearance is taken up over a bit of cam rotation, while the hydraulic does not need that ramp because it is always in contact with the lobe, even barely touching. At least that is what I have picked up over the years.
Esslinger and Racer Walsh for two names, made 2.3 (& 2.0) performance parts. Cams, intakes, pistons, and more.
If you swap cams, unless you use roller followers, should have new followers installed, or be kept on the lobe that they have become accustomed to. They sort of wear into each other, and may have a shortened life if moved around.
A 2.3 cam should work physically in a 2.5. It will/may have a different lift, but should be usable.
