Shift cable broke?

Went to the dump in my 1993 Ranger 4.0 liter, 4 by4. (225K miles) Put her in Park, but the selector lever on the transmission stopped at nuetral....Had to shift my old girl back and forth from under the truck, while holding it back with rocks so I didn't drive over myself, in order to get home without a tow truck. Feeling a bit McGiver-like....but I went to Rock Auto (It's Sunday) and they don't seem to list a replacement cable. Anybody know if these are still available anywhere? Anybody done this job yet? The Haynes manual makes it SOUND pretty easy.....Thanks,

Thanks....Thanks to you, once I knew they were available, I got it the next day through my dealer. A lot more money but no shipping cost and no waiting. Now I just need to put it in. .....

I'm having same problem except on a 95 4.0L and was told by a Ford Dealership parts department that the OEM shift cable is discontinued. Is there any aftermarket parts that would work? Rather not have to hit a pick and pull... Thx
