2011 XLT Ranger with the usual 60/40 factory seats. I'm tall and would like to find a seat mod that lets the seat go back further, more leg room. Do any of the Explorer/Mustang/Other seats go further back? Are there aftermarket seat rails that will do this?

Thanks.

Google: seat extender brackets

I assume extended cab Ranger :)

Yes, you can install different seats

But most seat travel is determined by "average" driver leg lengths, so "new seat" would probably have the same travel

In 2011 the seats are riveted to the frame, but they can be drill out and you could redrill frame and seat, then use bolts to hold seat to frame, and of course move it farther back on the frame, you could still slide it forward for different driver, but not as much

Yes, extended cab! I like this idea if I don't find better seats.

Does anyone know if power seats (from an Explorer or other Ford) have the same or different range of travel?
