changed the wheels to 10" wide w/ a 2.5" back space. with most of the truck now on the frame with the correct wheels and i can see how it sits now i am going to break down some springs and get this sitting at ride height.
i broke down the spring packs today, i took 2 out of the front (toyota rears) over load and shortest spring. the 63" chevy springs came with a overload, dropped it. now i need to flex it and check it out. it looks like steering will clear with no problem. i don't have a fork lift and my floor jacks don't go high enough. any thoughts
11 days after back surgery and i can lift 20# max. i felt good and went out to the shop today. thanks to my wife for helping me move parts around. i think the hood is finished (maybe), and the core support should be done saturday. then take it all back apart again.
still working under the 20# max weight limit I managed to finish installing the 3 core radiator out of the 76 f150, and the modified core support. I also started working on seat mounts for the honda seats they will work but I wish I would have done my homework on the seats before I scrapped the old bases. I would be running explorer seats.
