Notorious clunk or something else?

2010 Sport, S/C, 4X4, 90Kmiles.

When I accelerate hard there a thud/clunk. From what I've read, everybody else seems to have it on acceleration and deceleration. I only have it on the former.

Is this the notorious clunk or something else?

Do you hear the clunk, or do you feel the clunk.

My first thought would be u-joints.

Both but its a lot more noise than feel.

Just to reiterate, its only under hard acceleration. If I accelerate slower/smooth, there is no clunk. I dont mean traffic causing slow, I still keep up with traffic from a red light and it does not clunk. Its only when I floor it that it clunks.
