New From Tennessee

Hey everyone.
New to TRS, currently on my 3rd Ranger. Trying to get it right, or decide if I want to try and find a Ranger with bigger motor, and extended cab instead... Decisions, decisions. Anyway, glad to be here!

It depends on what you want. If it were me, and I were to go back and get another Ranger, I'd get a 1998-2000 Supercab with a 4.0L. On those models, they came with suicide doors for the cab, which is sooo convenient. I'd stay with the 4.0L OHV motor. It's more reliable, and get's decent gas mileage with grunt.

If you want great gas mileage, I'd go for the same year, but with the 2.3L 4 cylinder with 8 spark plugs.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am in Westmoreland, north of Nashville. I have the 8 plug 2.3L. Superdave, thanks, but my Ranger as cleaned my wallet out, plus not a big gen 1 fan .
