Largest tire you can put on a 2019 Ford Ranger without a lift

Clearance from top of tire to wheel arch opening on my stock 2019 FX4 is:

• 6" Front
• 7-3/4" Back

Your truck has been altered with a lift or something of that nature. And the biggest stock tire that came on the trucks, from the factory, were 265/65

Who did you buy the truck from, an individual or a Ford dealer?

I actually found the lift kit that's on it from this site. It has "ReadyLift 3.0" SST Lift Kit"! Thanks for that info. I got it from a dealer not Ford though.

I did some playing around with the 1010 tire Tire Size Calculator and 255/75R17 looks like it might be a viable option. It will give you a 32" tire with a slightly narrower profile, 10" vs 10.43. When I get the money to replace my winter tires with some mud tires, I'll see how they clear things in the wheel well. The bash bars may need to be replaced with the aftermarket models that are supposed to allow for more clearance. The narrower profile will definitely eliminate any concerns about knuckle clearance and it seems there is a decent amount of tire options available in that size.

I ran that size MTs at first. Kenda Klever MTs 255/75r17s. They fit fine but after the level kit they looked kinda small. But didn't have to modify crash bars or anything

Good to know. I'm trying to not lift the 2019. So that is good news.

Upsized tires give the driver more traction.

I am also a believer in uprated sway bars to go along with the increased ride height, especially if one should do a lift. They will improve the handling too. A better grip will make for more body roll. Those new bars will fix that and keep everything stable.

Hellwig makes a rear bar but it costs a crap-ton of money, like $700.

Exactly...and I might not even need it. Those spring pack clamps in the rear made a real difference.
