im gonna start with im 17 and pretty new to this... Earlier This Year I Bought A 98 Ranger XL Standard cab 2.5L and i dropped it with a 2/3 drop kit, but a few days later i noticed that the tire camber had been altered horribly. it looks all bowlegged, makes and uneven wear on my tires, and it also rides terrible because of it. does anyone know how i could fix it? i took it to a shop and all they said i could do is complely replace the controll arms, which is gonna cost some dough, does anyone know of a drop spindle for my truck? they make it for every truck but mine.

They sale a camber adjustment bolt set you can pick up at any parts store. The stock bolts on the upper control arms are off, and can not be adjusted enough to compensate.

But pick yourself up some of those bolt and take it to your local shop and get a good alignment with those bolts in.

Oh yeah I forgot...:worthless: :tease:

well both my upper and lower ball joints are busted i think, the rubber is ripped around it. so would the camber bolts work? i couldnt understand what you were saying, you said it would, but it wouldnt...

P.s. im doing this cause im setting up for an air bag system if that changes anything.

If you are going to run air bags in the near future, why not get yourself the DJM control arms lower the truck acouple inchs and get the camber adjuctment bolts. It will set everything to driveable and safe spects.

And you will be halfway there on the front.
