I did the same thing to a wasps nest attached to a wood deck of a new construction residential home that I was installing vinyl siding onto. Really lucky that the ground was sand and gravel. That was a very exciting 45 seconds. Then I covered up the burn marks with soffit. Sometimes I wonder how I made it into my 50's....

My Dad disappeared into Canada 25 years ago. Went to get a pack of smokes wearing a motley Crüe t shirt and a kilt while hauling a port a John. Never came back.

Worst part was his insurance company flagged it as potential arson (he was behind a bunch a payments). The investigator laughed his butt off. There were a bunch of us standing there watching so no shortage of witnesses. Happened in Florida back in the 90’s. If you wanna bust a gut, google “Florida man”. They do all kinds of crazy crap like that down there.....
