Front of Spring, Hanger

Trying to find out if the front spring hanger and rear spring hanger and shackles are the same parts or not ? This is on a 1995 4x4 Ranger. The front hanger went bad on this truck next to the gas tank. We have an extra set of rears but didn't know if they were the same on the front of the leaf spring. Thanks for any info.

I just did my rear spring hangers on my 94. The fronts and rear.They were both different set ups. I wish I had my pics to post for you. If you need to purchase one, ebay was the cheapest place for me. Should be 2 bolts and 2 rivets. Try to save the bolts or you will have to buy some grade 8 bolts and nuts. Use red thread locker to keep stuff tight. Remember to recheck the hanger a couple hundred miles after you replace it to make sure nothing came loose.

Thanks for the info. I called all the supply houses in the area and nobody can get them. One supplier showed it as Dorman # 722-011 for the fronts. I googled it and nothing came up. Must be a Ford Only deal. I'll try ebay.

If you have trouble in the JY, front hangers, rear hangers, and shackles were the same on '86-'96 F150's and All year Rangers. Except the front Ranger hangers, which changed in 1998 and newer.
