So I got my new used 5.0 today. Its out of a 87 mercury cougar xr7, it has around 80k on it. I guess the plan is to put my P heads with my trickflow valve springs, proform 1.71 roller rockers, my explorer intake. I dont know the condition of my B cam and lifters yet. So I might have to get another B cam and lifters. Regasket this engine and that L&L oil filter relocation kit. 10An stainless braided hose with the AN fittings.

How well does the 87 xr7 accessory brackets work in these 89-91 rangers? I might save them or use them depending on how nice they are once I pull them off.

If I had to guess I'd say the power steering pump is gonna hit your steering gearbox.
