I bought these tires 215/ 75 R15's to replace my all season Conti's. I have a set of Winter King Snow tires on seperate rims as well, but being lazy, figured I'd buy another set of severe snow rated tires that wouldn't be as noisy as the Winter Kings, and I wouldn't have to change them when winter came, as it doesn't snow too much in Vancouver. I do mostly on-road driving ( DOHC 2.3 2wd open diff.5spd.) I was in Nelson BC visiting in-laws , where the roads are 8-14% grades, and encountered fresh snow, and I almost didn't make it outta town! Seriously, I compare these to other winter tires, and they are terrible! I have driven the same roads with the same truck with different Snow tires, and there is nothing good about these tires performance that can be said. In the rain they are good, but I do not know how they got the Snowflake rating.
Do not even think about driving in the snow with these!
