Too funny, but the instructions for my 2006 Suzuki M109R actually call for putting some stop leak in every time you do a coolant change. I have ignored those instructions.
And now I know to stick with Suzuki bikes and not cars....................Unless they say the same for their 4 stroke bikes.

I'm finally installing the heads, (I know I'm slow. I'm a fricken flooring contractor not a mechanic.) Anyway, I used felpro gaskets and bolts. (From autozone) The bolts they list are 1" - 1 1/2" short. We found the correct size by looking at 1999 which had the option of before or after some date in 1998. We used the "after" date and they were correct. My question is, could the heads have been changed from 96 to late 98 - 99 and still fit? I tend to think felpro just screwed up, but if so, I wouldn't be the first to have this issue.

The M109R is a four stroke DOHC four valve per cylinder 1800 cc motorcycle.

Well shit. Shows I don't keep up with bikes anymore. I wonder why they would recommend doing that to a bike. 1800 cc is a damn nice VW bug engine.
