Iv put a 6” suspension lift on my 88 rwd ranger and and 3” body lift and cannot clear 33 12.5 Swampers. I want to add 2 in more lift and my only option is a coil spacer. Would I have any issues adding that? I know it will need aligned afterwards has anyone done this with success? Thanks

I don’t care for the look of those fenders. Tires clear in the rear fine. I think I’ll just try that spacer and see what happens

I reconsidered your suggestion pertaining to those pre runner fenders. I Did a bunch of research and Found a set of 3” bulge fenders these are comparatively mild to the ones I’d seen prior to looking into it further and will more than adequately suit my need for clearance issues. Thanks for giving me the idea brotha.

These mild fenders work great with lift and mid travel kits. You can also use these on 83-88 trucks and an update fender.
Price is for a pairSimple bolt on installation

You could also just get out the Sawzall.... lol

Going higher on the lift isn't always the answer.

Lets see some pictures when you're done.

Here’s how it sits right now with a skyjacker 6 inch stage two lift with new radius arms.33 12.5 Swamper radials on 15 by 10 wheels. And a before and after pic. The fenders are trimmed very slightly. It’s not only the clearance issue it just does not sit tall enough For my preference. Iv decided to put a 3 inch body lift and some mild bulge fenders.

Even with the added lift I think more trimming might be your only answer for those tires.

I have the first flat land cut off on my fenders and I have 31s that clear fine at stock height.

With the bulge fenders that I am going to put on there will be no clearance issues.

In your first post you said you had a 3 inch body lift... are you saying you are adding another 3 inch body lift?

Sorry I didn’t see I wrote it like that until you pointed it out. I do have a 3” body lift I just have not put it on yet. I was going to try and get the lift I needed with a 2” spacer or an 8” coil spring and a 3” body lift before seeing the bulge fenders and felt there would be no need for additional lift the spring or spacer provides with bigger fender openings.

OK... it didn't look like you had a body lift in those pictures. Made me go back and confirm what I thought I'd read.

You have lots of options to get it where you want.

I would think if you have it handling well where it's at... you go bumping up the suspension... you just opened up a can of worms.

Is this a driver or a toy for the weekend?
