Looking for a OEM 16" wheel, either solid or with the round holes (like the kind hiding behind hubcaps) to go on my '85. After the roundup I will use them as spares and on my pickup box trailer.

If they sat the tires inboard slightly more than normal that would be fine. A factory spare rim (fullsize of course) common enough to find 4 of would work too. Ideas? Something like a early 00's Taurus work?

With a topper it would give the truck a neat look that would keep it kind of old school looking for the trip.

older Taurus' are 5 on 4.25 (108mm)
late 90's Crown Vics have 5 on 4.5 and a similar offset to Rangers. not sure if the center is big enough for an older Ranger.

Darn, didn’t know Taurus was smaller.

Most Crown Vics I see in yards either have alloys, 15's or 17's.

Just see if you can get a set from the junk yard. Quite a few Rangers came with the type of rim you are looking for as a spare in 16"
