I have had what I consider a minor rattle noticeable at start up and idle. I changed the rear timing chain tensioner with an OEM part, which was not bad, but while screwing it in, I could screw it all the way in by hand with little resistance. My feeling is the timing chain guide is gone. I've google searched and listened to lots of videos with timing chain rattle, and mine sounds nothing like that in terms of volume... Note the rattle is still present, so I'm thinking time to trade it in...
