My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...
I've had multiple sets of BFG ATs, including the super old "radial all-terrain", KO, and KO2. Love em. I think the KO was a much better tire than the KO2...harder rubber compound or something, the KO2s wear faster for sure but it's not drastic enough to turn me off to them.
Ive noticed my KO2s wearing rather quickly to.

What ever you do dont buy duratraks from good year. Total waste of money I have them on my Ram and they just tear up grass and suck in the rain. I had Dayton A/T tires on my 98 years ago they did great considering the 4wd kept going out in that one

Not in my case. lol

Also, why would you want a heavier tire? It just makes for even worse acceleration and lower fuel mileage. It's also harder on suspension parts when offroading.

I'm pretty sure these are for his tow rig...

I put a set of 265/75/16's on my Ranger... mine weigh 50lbs a piece. Try to find a 32 inch tire that weighs much less... that aren't pass car rated.

Don't get me wrong. I like being able to run my 33" mud terrains, but I can't say I've ever looked for a heavier tire when shopping around..
FILL THEM WITH SAND

:threadjacked:

Which reminds me. PO of my F350 actually did have the tires filled with something sand-like. Haven't had them changed yet, but why would there be something like sand in my tires??

Redneck balancing beads? Or maybe he changed a tire on his rim while on the beach?

It's all four of them. I'm guessing some sort of redneck balancing.
