Thanks, I may have to get one. Even though it's Windows only - yuk.
Works fine on linux with a windows emulator. Or are you an apple weirdo... I use ubuntu and have no issue with forscan. Little more complex to set up but not hard. I also hate windows.

OBDLink MX+ or MX. MS-CAN and SW-CAN built-in and no switch. Works every time. Cost a little more but very fast and reliable.
80 bucks vs 29 and the usb device I posted works 100%. Mxlink is good for other software but if all you want is forscan no need to get fancy. A good elm clone with ms/hs can is all you need.

Just the right size to touch the ground.
If you're using the Forscan Android app or one of the many other apps available, the USB cable is not quite as friendly. LOL

I prefer wireless when I can, but I have a USB adapter as well.

Forscan on android isnt really that great though. It's the lite version so it doesn't allow bi-directional control or any of the programming features. Only the windows version has that stuff.

True, but it's still pretty decent for on the fly diag and/or monitoring. I use it quite a bit.

That one guy with ADHD and doesn't stop talking about cars.
Guys you won't believe the driving test to get your license, ny grampa took the test in a extended dodge passenger van in the early 70s with highway troopers, just everything he taught me was based upon how the troopers test you and then I go take the test a while back and it's only in a parking lot, I make a couple turning mistakes because my moms jeep renegade has more blind spots than a ranger, and instead of marking me wrong on a couple of things the lady changed them to something else and passed me on a whim, it's why we got so many idiots on the road now, trust me make your fucking kid practice driving their ass off, till their sick of driving, I miss people like me and my gramps who could drive without being a dumbass......also my gramps is full blooded Texan.....me sadly full blooded Floridian....

It's an 02 sensor bung and plug. You can get them at any place that sells exhaust parts. And I don't know I've never brazed anything. I despise torches.

I miss bench seats.... in cars lol. I had a Nissan truck that had a neutral override button for the clutch so you could start the truck without pressing in the clutch. Not sure what the purpose of it was but it was handy. I DO NOT like tail gates that are "soft open" they are way too slow for my speed. Soon we will be missing manual transmissions because those are becoming obsolete any more. I wish they would stop putting batteries in areas like fenders and bumpers.... Good luck starting a dead car off the little bolts that are rusted out that they provide. Storage is ridiculous anymore... Can you even fit a slim toolbox under the front seat on a new ranger? I wish manufactures would stop by an RV manufacture and get ideas for storage. RV's use every inch for storage. I've always wondered why they don't use the wasted space between the sheet metal on the bed sides, bumpers and on the front fenders. Could easily add storage compartments in these areas.
My 2010 Buick Lucerne has a split bench in the front, and even has a seatbelt in the middle. if you are not seating 3 people across, the middle part of the seat still opens up as a storage console, and you can put the arm rest down on top of it for even more storage. Kind of neat. that middle section is bolted to the floor and does not move, but the seats on either side move independently of it.
