Look. I know you think you're being funny, but I am NOT amused. Making fun of somebody's disability is NOT cool. Calling somebody like me lazy? Stick it where the sun don't shine, Dirtman.

To hell with that... I use my quad.

I'm stuck at work fixing the plow trucks for any real storms... my neighbor comes over does the driveway with his Bobcat. I just have to do some donuts and finish up whatever he didn't do.
My original plan was to get a plow for my quad and use it this year. But then the trans started messing up.

Sooooo i was gonna fix my old 78 MTD i have used for the last 2 yrs or so, but i never got a chance to.

The snowblower is a last resort lol.

Don't. P*ss. Off. Saskatchewan.

They control the Canadian sewers. If you p*ss them off bad enough, you're not just going to have your poop in your furnace, you're going to be Canada's new sewage treatment plant.

Have you tried googling an owners manual for it? That might help you. If not I would google the issue and see what comes up. I personally feel like snow blowers take too long. However if you have a long driveway then I could see it being a must. However, I don't have a driveway period. Park on the side of the street or in the neighbors parking lot (church) which they keep they plowed for the most part. I have a couple of snow blowers and don't use them... Saving them for their motors for future projects or sell them for extra money since I don't have much in them.

I found a parts manual but not an owners manual. I got the manual somewhere but where? No idea.

I do basically sidewalks for the whole block. I usually use my lil garden tractor unless it gets heavy and deep, then the blower cant be beat.

Cool it 1990, his original post that you took exception to was not directed at you.
X2, X3, X4.
I'v got old wounds from the military, from 26 years as a cop, shoulder surgeries on both shoulders, back surgery, and arthritis. 70 years old, and I wake up in pain, and go to bed in pain.
Yet, I enjoy Dirtmans posts, and all the others who joke, cause it is all in jest.
As a forum you have to know that posts will be made that are not directed at you, but may include something that relates to you.
Chill out, and remember that in the end everyone is here to gather and share info.
And, I do use a snow thrower, a big one.

I can relate to that. When I was a teenager, *I* was the snowblower. Dad: "What do I have teenagers for?"
I remember when I was about 13 or 14 fighting with my mother about this. She wanted the driveway shoveled twice an hour, and I didn't see the point because it was still snowing.

Now I have a driveway that takes an hour to shovel by hand if it is only light snow.

Thats why god blessed us with internal combustion.

My driveway growing up was made of oyster shells. You couldn't plow it or snow blow it for obvious reasons. My dad would make us shovel the snow but stand on the porch yelling the entire time because we were shoveling "too deep" and picking up the shells... I remeber once just throwing the shovel in the street and walking off. I later got hit with that shovel...

I have a 26" two- stage, four-stroke Toro and a 16" single stage, two-stroke Toro for the major work with snow shovels for clean up. My back would be very angry if I did it all with a shovel and with me living on a hill, I need to clear the street front so it doesn't turn into a sheet of ice since the township won't (the just plow right down the middle). The little Toro has been fantastic. I think the thing is 19 years old now and I've made it clear snow it was never intended to without breaking it and before I got the two-stage.
