Just got done doing the Lower Ball joints on my 03 Ranger, it snowballed into a brake job because the rotors were chewed up and had to be replaced (got new pads too of course). In the process of replacing the Ball Joints though I removed the Steering Knuckles completley and in doing so I removed the ABS Wheel Speed Sensors from each one (I know some people simple set the knuckle aside with the sensor still connected or disconnect the wire from inside the engine bay and maybe thats what I should have done). Instead I removed them from the knuckles themselves and in the case of the passenger side one I had to tap it loose (used a block of wood) because it was a mother %@@%#%@ to get out. Drivers side was stuck too but not as bad alot of wiggling got that one out.. So I get it all back together rides great now with the new Moog Ball Joints only now I have an ABS Light on and my scanner shows the Right Front Speed Sensor no input (I forget the actual code # off hand).

So im wondering if the sensor got damaged somehow while removing it because of the tapping or maybe its just not liking the tone ring on the new rotor. Its in all the way I doubled checked all that, also the Drivers side sensor is not showing a code... Also sometimes after just starting the truck and taking off (no light on) while stopping the ABS will pulsate and I can feel it pulsing the right front wheel, then the light comes on and its basically normal non ABS Brakes at that point.. Truck still stops fine no issues there... I don't wanna just throw a new sensor at it if that isn't going to fix the problem but can't think of what else it could be.
