As much as I thought of keeping my low mileage 2009 Ranger totally stock, the itch has hit and I gotta scratch it.
Thinking of going a bit old school with some American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and a two tone paint scheme, maybe something like these.
Truck now is white, and paint/body is in pristine cond. so it dosen't require any body work. New paint could be shot right onto it.
Going to keep running gear and engine stock, but just want to add some "bling"
What do you all think?

Yep... that's what happens when you hang around here.

I like the 70's style over the 80's.... I think it would be pretty cool.

Yup Gump, I got bit!!! But really, I got to thinking, and my Ranger, while pristine, is still just a small pick up. It will never be a classic or collectable, so I figured, why not!!!
Yeah, I'm leaning toward the 70's style with some chrome Torque Thrusts, 15 inchers. I hate the big wheel/narrow sidewall look.

Maybe one of you guys who can photo chop a picture can do it to mine, in red. Maybe, please!!! Pretty please!!!

I think you're spot on...

I had a friend that had a white truck... he did the 70's look two tone with gun metal gray as the accent color. Then he did a thin pin stripe in black around the gray. Looked amazing...

Yeah!!! Better half gave me the OK. Have some trips coming up with the motor home, so I'm going to wait till winter to get it done. Good shop in town and thats their slow time.
Kind of what I'm thinking...

Yeah...originally I stained them but it didn't hold up. Sanded them and got some top quality wood deck stain and re-did them. Holding up very well.
And with that, I like the gray accent/black stripe. Then I would go with the gray center Torque Thrust wheels.
Still playing with it, but I am going to go with my plans.

Playing with google, looks like the original Rangers, the first and second series up until 93, had a lot of two tone combinations.
Too bad they discontinued them.
