1995 Explorer and 1994 Ranger used the same 4.0l OHV engine, so no issue swapping the engines

Explorer would have a cam sensor but unless Ranger was from Calif it would not
You can either leave the cam sensor in place and just not plug it in or you can pull out the 1994 oil pump drive and put in into the 1995 engine replacing the cam sensor

You can't swap computers

You can read here on the changes over the years to the 4.0l OHV engine: https://therangerstation.com/tech_library/40rebuild.shtml
