I have the Opportunity to get a 93’ ford f-150 with the 5.0 v8. Will that motor work for a 2001 ford ranger 5.0 swap?

Yes, but not best swap source

Intake will be too tall for Ranger
Its also the older computer, pre-1996
F150 V8 Exhaust won't fit Ranger, or radiator

People use Explorer as V8 source because its engine bay is basically the same as a Ranger so most things fits

2001 Ranger may need an interface for speedometer and cruise, speed signal, in 2001 it comes from the computer, which you are removing, this can be needed regardless of F150 or Explorer
