92 ford ranger 3.0 help please ?

I'm trying to pin point the issue with my ranger, its being stalling on me, already clean the MAF, IAC, replace the ignition module, TPS, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump(wasn't holding pressure),plugs, wires, distributor and nothing seems to help...engine light keeps coming on and off, I don't know if the timing chain could be the issue of the stalling or something else....does anybody knows or got and idea what could it be...I hope to get some advice before Saturday bcuz already set my mind to replace the timing chain...??

What was the Fuel pressure holding at? The fuel pressure should be between 30-40 psi.
Did you chang the coil as well?
Is it stalling while idling?
Is it popping any when stalling?

Go to autozone and buy a 30 dollar EEC IV reader.

Pull the codes. Im sure theres a few in there.

Yes a timing chain can cause stalling, but once it stalled cause of a timing chain, it would not restart.

I think my fuel pressure wasnt really working well, but everyr.time I pressed the valve on the fuel rail to see if it had pressure and it didnt even with the key on..forgot to mention I did changes the coil..stalls while idling and sometimes it pops too..

If its popping you might want to check into the ignition module.

Can he pull codes on a 92? With and OBD2 reader?
No....

But for 30 bucks you can buy an EEC IV reader. Its pretty nice. I bought one for my 87.


Or you can use a voltmeter. Instructions are on the main TRS page.

But id still reccommend the reader

Can he pull codes on a 92? With and OBD2 reader?
92 is a obd1 ...I just did last night, at fisrt gave me a lot of codes and tben I did it again and only gave 2 codes I think it was 159 and 10...but need to check it again. Bcuz the code reader did not saved them just to make sure.

I bought one of them...I'm going to read it again for the codes.
