If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
Has anyone found cast iron exhaust manifolds that work on a 351 in a 93 2wd Ranger? I don't want to use a body lift to gain clearance and the plan is to use Fox Mustang convertible engine mounts. Short tube headers would be a second choice.

I found a pair of manifolds at Carlisle that will work. The right side ID is C6OE-9430-F and looks like a stock 65-6 Mustang 289 manifold. The left side is a C6AE-9431-E which identifies it as a full size Ford part, it exits at a downward angle. I tried a pair of Mustang 289 manifolds which exited straight back that a friend loaned me and the right side would have worked, the left side manifold studs were 1/2" from the firewall. I think 289 hipo manifolds might work, too, but the pair I bought cost $40.

thats good to know. If they cleaned up the header sticky so it only had info in it instead of chatting people wouldnt have to read a few pages to get to that. If you just want the info quick it seems to take forever reading everything. Then after reading through several forums its really easy to forget where and when you saw it if you remembered it right...
