Looking at wheel and tire options for a 87 bronco II with stock set up. I basically can go with a set of 15x7 explorer rims and probably get 235 75 15 tires... the safe bet
OR
could buy a set of 15x8 aftermarket American racing Baja rims with mounted 30x9.5s. I’ve run this set up before on my 1st B2 and 88 but they rubbed so I did a small siuspension lift.

I’d like to keep the 87 stock no lift but wonder if the 30x9.5s on the 15x8 rims will rub again. The explorer rim and tire option will be fine by I prefer the wider stance of the 15x8 wheels with either the 30x9.5 tires or may try a 255 70 15 tire. My user photo shows my 90 B2 now gone with 15x8s with 30x10.5 tires hard to find but was a great look. However he 90s B2s I think could handle a wider set up than 83-88 b2s.

Any thought much appreciated! Thanks
