    thank you for your info, i called ford with the vin and they couldnt tell me, so i will pull the center cap-rim this weekend, if i have the later style live axle then what are those pro and cons?

    I just purchased a 1996 xlt and want a factory am/fm/cd or info on what other year ford models will interchange with my ranger. Also how do i know if my truck has a factory amp? thanks for any help.
