Hello TRS,
I have a 2003 Ranger extended cab 2wd and I am thinking about lowering it. I do have a few questions on what I have to do. This will be the first truck I will lower. I have found a complete kit from summit racing for 705. It is 4 in the front 5 in the rear. I do have a set of 20 inch rims on the truck. If I lower it that far down will my tires rub at all? Should I go with a 3 in front and 3 in back? Has anyone lowered it that far with 20's on it. Give me Feedback Please and thank you

Matt

It's definitley been done. The rubbing really just depends on the offset of your wheels and the size of your tires. I'm 4/5 with 18's and they're really not close on the fenders, but they're 9 inch wide wheels up front, so they get close to the inner wheel wells. Just depends on your setup really. Here are a couple pics for reference:

Thanks DG! One thing I forgot to mention to the OP, was the fact that the djm lowering kit WILL NOT WORK on an edge model truck. The truck must have coil springs rather than torsion bars.

I'm thinking about lowering my 2001 Mazda b2300 but i want it level in the end. So more of a 3 in. in the back and 2 in the front. Is there an easy way to do that?
