All,
If anyone could be so kind as to scan the pages for door locks and power windows from an EVTM for a 90 BII I would greately appreciate it. I have the doors from a 90 to go on my 88 but of course the wiring is different and I don't have an EVTM for a 90 model. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

Oh gosh. This is a fun swap. I'm in the middle of putting the 86 to 88 PW/L in my 87 using the 89 harnesses. Blue and black goes to power, black and black goes to ground. If I remember correctly, that should just make it work.

Yeah,
'Cept the 90 harness has 2 twisted pairs that go from the door locks to the bulkhead connector and that is not the same as the 92 Explorer that has been my donor for everyhting else. Seems the tranistional period of the 89/90 BII to the Explorer was full of changes..... Guess I'll just have to order the EVTM after all, sigh....

I've got the evtm manuals and the big wiring schematics for both '90 and '91 models. Bought them a few years ago when I did my 4.0 swap. I ended up only using the schematics but they're to big to scan. I'll check out the evtm's tomorrow and see what I can get for you. Should be able to get you going :icon_thumby:

Oh yeah. You didn't say that your donor was an Explorer. That is gonna be a lot more fun. I'm at least going from a B2 to a Ranger harness. I already know my wire rig is gonna work.

You may be better off to take a few steps back and get all Ranger/B2 parts. The Explorer PW/L system is it's own beast and always has been.
