my cat has this scab open area on his head. he is indoor cat. no flees that i can see. also no other animals in the house. will peroxide be ok to clean the stuff out till i can get him to a vet. please help:bawling:

yes but be sure to NOT get in the eyes also be ready to use it on yourself as you cat will not be too fond of it

no front claws. and he has 4 smaller ones. could it be really bad flees.

not sure iv never delt with fleas in my cat just Ear mites, the vet should be able to figure it out though not much to do but treat the wounds an try to keep them clean

Neosporin could help. Works the same on pets as us humanoids.

Yeah, I think it should be OK . I guess you could try peroxide. but I would keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.
Do you have fleas at all? Our dog gets something just like that. Its called a hot spot.
Like I said though man, I would keep an eye on it and hopefully watch it heal!

watch out for the "lobster virus".....the internet says it's in your area & can be very nasty if not watched/treated carefully....i hope the cat doesn't have "IT"....

Peroxide will actually kill the top layer of skin, along with any infection..... I would just put neosporin on it and take to vet in the morning.

Was gonna say that looked more like a laceration then a parasitic infestation.
